Quick Information

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is until 11:00 AM. If you would like to arrive earlier at the harbor and our hotel, this is usually no problem. Just send us a message or give us a call in advance and we’ll try to make it possible. In any case, you’re welcome to leave your luggage with us before your room is ready.

How can breakfast be added?

If you would like to have breakfast on board, simply let us know when you arrive at our hotel.

We serve breakfast Monday to Friday from 7:15 AM to 10:30 AM, and on weekends from 8:15 AM to 10:30 AM.

Is the hotel accessible?

We have tried to make access as comfortable as possible. However, since the hotel is a ship, access is via a gangway and stairs. Once you are on board, the rooms and the lounge can be reached on the same level without additional stairs.

Until when can you cancel the reservation?

You can cancel your reservation free of charge up to three days before arrival if you have booked one or two rooms. For bookings of three to five rooms, free cancellation is possible up to ten days before your stay.

If these deadlines have already passed, please contact us as soon as possible. We will then release your rooms for booking again. If we are able to rent them out to another guest at short notice, you will not be charged.

If we are unable to rebook the rooms, the overnight stay will unfortunately still need to be paid.geben eure Zimmer dann wieder für die Vermietung frei. Are taxes included?

All taxes (VAT as well as the cultural and tourism tax) are included in the room and breakfast prices.

Where can you park?

Electric cars can park free of charge at any time on Zitadellenstraße, within sight of the ship. For all other cars, parking on Zitadellenstraße costs €3 per hour from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Outside these hours, parking is free. We recommend parking in the Veritaskai parking garage, where our guests receive a discount. The price is €7.50 per 24 hours, and you can get the parking tickets directly from us on board.

Are there drinks in the rooms?

Mineral water is provided in every room for you. In the lounge, you are welcome to help yourself to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at any time. We offer, among other things, soft drinks, apple spritzer, wine, beer, Aperol, sparkling wine, coffee, and tea.

Are pets allowed?

We’re sorry, but pets are not allowed on the hotel ship.

When and how is payment made?

Booking individual rooms

Payment is made at check-out. You can pay your bill by credit card (unfortunately no American Express) or in cash.

Booking the entire hotel ship

If you would like to rent the entire ship, we require a deposit. The remaining balance will then be due at check-out.

Is there free Wi-Fi?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Hotel ship fully booked?

Sometimes our five rooms are booked up quickly. If you’re flexible, we recommend our second floating home: Houseboat JONATHAN – a cozy holiday apartment on the water, perfect for anyone who would also like to experience Hamburg in a maritime way.
